"Thumper" is a 2002 Blackwell 61 ft, Sport fish convertible.  She's one of the largest charter boats in the Outer Banks!  She was built right in Carolina for fishing the waters of the east coast. Our fishing charter is built to handle rough waters and a dream to ride in calm waters.  This sport fisher has an 18 ft beam which has a lot of room for family and friends.  When we get that big fish it's on to the fighting chair to bring it in!   There is plenty of room in the air-conditioned or heated salon with a complete kitchen, dining table and a large flat screen TV with DVD capability. So if you have someone in the family that doesn't like to fish, bring them along and I am sure they will enjoy the ride. This boat is powered by (2) 12 cylinder 1,000 horsepower MAN diesels that cruise comfortably at 29 knots. So this boat is not only huge and comfortable, its fast to get to those fishing spots quick.
